I am a self-taught, fine art wildlife artist, though I have drawn from a very young age. But it was living out in the African bush in my 20's, where the seeds of my new career were sewn. I would sit and sketch for hours, studying the animals, their behaviour and form and I simply fell in love. Needless to say, the natural world has been my focus ever since.
I am also a passionate conservationist, a signature member of Artists for Conservation, and help a myriad of conservation groups around the world by raising funds through my art.
It has long been my desire to bring this breathing, raw, natural world, to a wider audience, to get them a little closer to it and have them connect in a more visceral way, so please enjoy a wander through my work.
Little addendum - My sons name, MAX, is hidden in all of my wildlife work - can you find it!
